I am searching Lloyd Leftwich who was a slave in Virginia! He was born around 1832 in Virginia! If there are any papers or information about the Leftwich slave holders, I would be very interested!

Without more information that’s a tough question to answer. The obvious would be to search “Leftwich Family” in the “All Repositories” option but that assumes that they shared a surname and that the enslaving family kept records that named individuals. That said, you have nothing to lose by trying.

I am related to Elisha Norfleet through my mother and Elisha Norfleet grave is outside of Suffolk off of the Whitemarsh Road. I fell upon it a few years ago and the area is in need of repair. There are several other graves there and I believe my great great grandmother is buried there as well.
