Spotlight: Sandy Jenkins alias Sandy Beard, Company E

Sandy Jenkins alias Sandy Beard was born in New Bern, North Carolina and settled in Phoebus, Virginia (near Fort Monroe) after the war. He was enumerated in the 1890 Veterans Census with other members of the regiment — Louis Seldon, Company C and Randall Carter, Company H — who lived nearby.
